Who doesn’t LOVE ice cream?!?!?!?!? I for sure do. But if you’re reading this blog, you know that I definitely do not recommend the conventional dairy ice cream that you will find at your local ice cream shop.
Conventional dairy is filled with hormones that will mess with your body. It also can be very hard to digest because it’s made from pasteurized milk which lacks the beneficial bacteria that you get with whole, unpasteurized milk. Because the beneficial bacteria and enzymes has been wiped out through the pasteurization process, conventional dairy is anything but healthy for you.
That’s why my husband and I prefer dairy free ice cream. We created this delicious soft serve ice cream as a healthy alternative. Plus it tastes like soft serve ice cream, seriously. If you can’t tell from the pictures, this stuff is ridiculously tasty.
To do this recipe you’ll want to make sure that you’re using the right utensils. The bananas are going to be pretty hard and I recommend letting them thaw for 5-10 minutes befSO, a food processor or high speed blender will do fine. I have my Cuisinart Food Processor below.
