Early-Morning Alkalizing Drink

We start EVERY MORNING with this alkalizing drink!

Why???

Because:

  • It hydrates your body first thing and makes you feel AMAZING
  • The lemon and Apple Cider Vinegar alkalize your body. This is important as you are the most acidic when you first wake up
  • The Humic Fulvic Minerals help remineralize your body and help you feel incredible first thing in the morning
  • It usually helps you eliminate within a couple hours of waking.  Which is vitally important.  This helps your body to get rid of toxins and pathogenic material.  Unburdening your body from toxins gives you clearer skin, a youthful glow, and a healthy, happy gut.

Why Lemons?

Starting your day off with fresh squeezed lemon juice is incredible for your health as they are nutritional powerhouses.  They contains essential Vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Thamine, Choline, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, and Pantothenic Acid. They are especially loaded with Vitamin C.  In fact, just one serving gives you 88 percent of you body’s daily Vitamin C requirement.  Vitamin C ( ascorbic acid ) is a powerful anti-oxidant and helps remove free radicals from the blood.

Lemons contain an array of phytochemicals (such as Hesperetin, Naringin, and Naringenin).  The specific phytochemical Naringenin has also been shown to be a powerful anti-oxidant, helping scour the body of dangerous pro-inflammatory free radicals.  Finally, lemons also contain essential minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Potassium.

You can see why it’s a great choice to start your day off with lemons!  Just be sure to buy your lemons organic as they are often sprayed with chemicals and numerous pesticides.  When choosing your lemons, look for ones that are fully bright yellow ( no green tips ) and have a thinner skin (as thicker peels mean less juice ).

Why Apple Cider Vinegar?

Ewww…Apple Cider Vinegar first thing in the morning?  Yes!

The reason?

Apple cider vinegar has been shown to lower blood glucose levels, improve insulin sensitivity, help you lower body fat (specifically belly fat) and prevent weight gain.

Due to the fact that it is also a fermented food, Apple Cider Vinegar is incredible for your gut health.  One specific study involving mice with ulceratic cholitis showed that when the mice were fed a drink with acedic acid ( which largely comprises apple cider vinegar ) they increased the beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria in their guts which helped reduce the symptoms of the disease.

Make sure you buy Raw and Unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar.  Otherwise you will miss out on all the glorious health benefits I just listed above.

Why Humic Fulvic Minerals?

Humic Fulvic minerals are an incredible thing.  They essentially come out of the earth and are captured by companies then sold to consumers.

What we are sure about with humic/fulvic acids is that they contain every conceivable mineral known to man.  Then, all of these minerals are in an absorbable form for your body.

 

Essentially, if you are mineral deficient you are headed for disease.  Humic/fulvic acid will give you all of the minerals that you need in a bioavailable form.  It doesn’t get much better than that!

  • 1/2 large Organic lemon juiced
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Raw Unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 10 drops Humic Fulvic Minerals
  • 1 quart Spring/Reverse Osmosis Water

  • 1/2 large Organic lemon juiced
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Raw Unpasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 10 drops Humic Fulvic Minerals
  • 1 quart Spring/Reverse Osmosis Water
Instructions
  1. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into your quart jar. Add the Apple Cider Vinegar and 10 drops of Humic Fulvic Minerals.
  2. Fill up the quart jar with spring/filtered water.
  3. Drink up! Feel amazing!
