I am so excited to share this recipe with you! I first started making simple green smoothies when I went through my vegan phase a few years back. I made them almost every morning and used a variety of fruit, and greens.
This recipe is my own twist on a green juice I always get when visiting our favorite juice shop, Juice Generation, in Manhattan, NYC. However, being that this recipe is a smoothie, it’s a bit heartier than a juice. It contains all the beautiful vegetable fiber that helps you cleanse and detoxify.
I also added a half an avocado as a healthy fat as it helps your body to better absorb all the delicious greens in the smoothie.
