Well, here we are as Vital Gut Health. As many of you know we had started our blog focused on the gluten free community. However, that has all changed. We are now going to focus on your gut health.
Why, you might ask? Well, eating gluten free is only one tiny aspect of your overall health. Living a healthy lifestyle requires many things. However, gut health is one of the most important.
In this post we’ll cover why we switched and some of the reasons that gut health can make the largest impact on your health. Are you ready?
The Gut and You
Your digestive tract is one of the most extravagant organs in your body. It is made up of trillions of tiny bacteria that are at war constantly. That’s right, war. There are more bacteria in your gut than cells in your body!!
These bacteria, good and bad, are constantly fighting to gain ground. The good gut bacteria is what is going to give you extravagant health, vibrant skin, clear thoughts and a host of other benefits.
The main issue is that many of us eat foods that contain antibiotics, consume antibiotics and eat a diet that feeds bad bacteria. Where does this lead us to? It leads you to a miserable life!
I’m not completely bashing antibiotics. Used in the correct venue for the right reason they can save your life. However, the overuse of these drugs has been on of the most dastardly mistakes of our generation.
My Gut Effects My Mood?
That’s right, I said it! Your gut effects your mood. There is a nerve that runs up your spinal cord and leads directly into your brain from your gut. That means that the health of your gut has a direct bearing on your mood!
This nerve is why scientists are now saying that the terrain and health of your gut has a direct impact on your mind! This can have some serious implications. We’ll do our best to cover them all within our blog.
How Does This Relate To Gluten Free?
Well, we want you to know that we will still be posting gluten free recipes all of the time. Many major studies by medical universities are showing that Non Celiac Wheat Sensitivity is directly related to leaky gut.
The beginning of how to restore gut health is going gluten free. That will be your first step in the right direction.
To restore gut health, however, is to do much more than simply cut out gluten. Restoring gut health requires a total transformation of your health.
With that, not much is going to change. However, we are going to be focusing more on your overall health. We want you to feel better and live a better life. We want you to see a change in your health.
Whether you’re interested in weight loss, eating a cleaner diet, exercise, restoring gut health, healing leaky gut, eating gluten free or simply feeling better we’re here to help you!
